The Grandparent Council unites grandparents of children with juvenile myositis. Through monthly calls and biennial meetings, they share experiences and knowledge. Their aim is to support families and advance research opportunities, fostering a brighter future for affected children. Connection and collaboration with other grandparents are emphasised.


The study found a potential link between COVID-19 vaccines and increased risk of acute transverse myelitis (ATM). Evidence suggests a heightened ATM risk within 42 days post-vaccine, especially with certain vaccine types.
